MyFans payment declined outside Japan?

Start with the payment method and your card issuer. MyFans officially supports overseas registration and credit-card payments, but it also notes that a card may be unavailable depending on the card's status.

Check these first

  1. Confirm the final price in yen and make sure your issuer allows overseas / foreign-currency transactions.
  2. MyFans lists Visa, Mastercard and JCB. Debit and prepaid cards may work, but availability still depends on the card.
  3. JCB is handled through an external payment flow at checkout rather than the normal card-registration screen.
  4. Your card company may apply its own exchange rate and overseas transaction fee.
  5. Paidy is not a general overseas fallback because MyFans says it requires a Japanese phone number that can receive SMS.

If the card still fails

Do not keep retrying blindly. Check whether your bank blocked the transaction, verify that online/overseas purchases are enabled, then review the other payment methods currently shown by MyFans at checkout. MyFans also lists BitCash for plans and single-post purchases.

Before paying

Use an official creator preview when one is available, verify whether the offer is a one-off purchase or a recurring plan, and check the current price on the official MyFans checkout page.
